Dr. Richard Li is a distinguished membrane technology expert with over 40 years of experience spanning research, commercialization, and industrial applications. Currently serving as CEO of Snano Co., Ltd., he specializes in ceramic-based composite nanofiltration membranes and applications.

Dr. Li earned his Ph.D. from National University of Singapore (2004) under the mentorship of world-renowned professors including Prof. Chung, Neal Tai-Shung (Singapore Academy of Engineering Fellow) and Prof. Wang Rong (Singapore Academy of Engineering Fellow). He was among the first researchers to report thickness-dependent morphology phenomena in asymmetric membranes and pioneered dual-layer asymmetric hollow fiber composite membranes.

Dr. Li's expertise encompasses the complete membrane technology value chain from R&D to large-scale manufacturing, with specializations in hollow fiber membranes, ceramic membranes, seawater desalination, MBR systems, and industrial fluid separation. He has driven multiple successful commercialization projects and continues to lead innovation in membrane science, new energy applications, and sustainable water treatment technologies.His extensive industry experience includes senior management positions at several technology companies.
