Seawater Desalination Pretreatment Project - Ningbo
We adopted flat ceramic membrane filtration technology, which is a purely physical retention process characterized by its small area, low operating costs, and low investment costs. This process does not require the addition of flocculants, and the sludge produced can be directly discharged into the ocean.

We employed a 100nm flat membrane pretreatment combined with a carefully designed 2-stage RO treatment scheme. After thorough testing and analysis, the SDI value of the ultrafiltration stage was measured at 2.5, indicating effective pretreatment performance. Furthermore, the RO effluent consistently met the stringent enterprise water use standards, ensuring its suitability for industrial applications.
